Avant 400 mini loader
For professional users requiring an economical, diesel-powered machine with power to tackle a variety of applications using any of more than 100 attachments, Thetford-based Avant Tecno UK has introduced the 400 series mini loader.
Model 420 is fitted with the same Kubota 20hp engine as the larger 520 and is built around a sturdy articulated chassis. But its lower specification means it costs almost 20 per less. This should especially appeal to the hire market.
The 420 is also 355mm shorter than the 520, making it suited to applications where space is tight. Weight is just 980kg. The machine has a telescopic boom, giving a lift height of 2.75m.
